James Ashton has written widely on business, the economy, technology and leadership, and authored two books. His new book, The Nine Types of Leader, explores the different categories of CEO James as encountered during his career. James was City Editor and Executive Editor of the London Evening Standard and before that City Editor of the Sunday Times. His podcast, Leading with James Ashton, features CEOs from business, charity, the arts and beyond, explaining how they learnt to lead and the advice the offer to the next generation. James is a non-executive director at the FTSE250 investment trust Finsbury Growth & Income, a senior adviser to Portland Communications and chairman of Oscar’s Book Prize, the annual search for the UK’s best picture book.
