At HSBC, as the Tax and Trust Technical Product Manager, Francesca’s focus is on providing technical guidance on complex estate planning, trusts and taxation, as well as the meticulous management and strategic development of Onshore Bond and Trust products. She works closely with the Business Development Managers across the UK to deliver technical support and insightful presentations on trusts and taxation.

Francesca’s career has always centred around Financial Services, starting as a mortgage adviser before progressing to become an independent financial adviser advising clients on personal tax issues, including IHT, income tax and CGT, and specialising in care fees planning. She then used her extensive experience and knowledge to work with various product providers. For the past 10 years she has been a technical specialist in tax, trusts and estate planning.

As an ex-adviser, she understands the challenges involved and finds the most satisfying part of her role is assisting advisers by removing any technical barriers that are preventing the delivery of their advice.

Outside of work, she looks forward to her regular trips to Italy, to enjoy the countryside, local food and, of course, the local wines. She enjoys watching most sports, including F1 and international football.
